Leaky Weekday Nostrils: the Weekend Recap

My nose is leaking mucus which would be a great! “thing of Yum” if a leaky nose prevented me from having to be in class or going to work BUT because school is online and taking off work for a plain runny nose isn’t worth the headache my leaky nose, that lacks any potential for being anything other than a nuisance, remains a nuisance.


I partied all weekend which would explain how I caught a cold—scurrying around the city trying to be cute instead of practical. But on the home front Vinny is sick. He’s been lumbering around the apartment all snotty and miserable. Maybe Vinny gave me his amoebas…?


Finally completed the Lady Gaga Team KLB video with Erica and Charles. Its been on our agendas for the last 3 weekends and finally but FINALLY did we get it done. YouTube rejected it though. Ha!


My older sister Kim who is roughly 7/8 months pregnant had a scare the other day. She was at work and she began spotting. She called the father-to-be, he drove her to the hospital, the Docs gave her a shot so the baby wouldn’t fall from her pudenda and Kim seems to be okay. Her status on Facebook said “false alarm, the baby’s fine.” It’s a boy by the way. They intend on naming him Demetrius.


Everybody loves my Caribbean buddy Tannis (though he only met Chuck this weekend. I want homt o meet everybody!). Tannis and Chuck is who I partied with this weekend. We did the Prophouse on Friday and Reunion on Saturday, the Golden Nugget after the Prophouse and some expensive 24hour pizza joint after Reunion. I got too see good old’ Keisha Kornbread in Reunion so I stole her hat, cookies and goggles and stood for pictures.

It was actually a beautiful weekend…Beautiful weekends=Leaky weekday nostrils. What a small price to pay I guess.
