Blowing Balloons and Noses

  1. Vinny hasn’t come home tonight. He got an unemployment check which I assume means he has money to burn so he’s out in the world burning it.
  2. The neighborhood High school had a fire drill this morning while I was at the bus stop, headed toward the gym. There were 4 firetrucks and the kids poured across the campus lawn like marbles. Their school colors are yellow and black. They looked like Spanish bees.
  3. Orange Polo, which is now the official code name for Damon, the cute boy at work, didn’t come to work today. Whomp, whomp. Broke my heart! The work night is so much easier when he’s there. Orange Polo is just that entertaining…for example…yesterday, this is so cheesy, but we were bickering out loud about something—he’s pacing around the room and I’m at my work station. I wound up making this BIG scene calling him a balloon-head, head big as a balloon and nothings in it (corny right? I know) well he comes over to my desk, after the floor settles their snickering, looks down at me, body pressed against my desk and genuinely asks, loud enough so only I can hear “you blow balloons, right.” DAMN, I wanna kiss this boy!

I blow my nose on:
  1. tshirts
  2. under shirts
  3. towels
  4. paper towels
  5. socks
  6. rags
  7. napkins
  8. undies, preferably mine but yours will do too
  9. and anything sturdier than Kleenex , my nose is too Big for Kleenex

I aaaam sick of being sick. My breathing is labored. I feel fatigued. I HATE taking medicine so for the first few days I don’t until the damn cold progresses. I have no idea why I do that. Clearly I’m a glutton for punishment.

But I’m in bed at my laptop wheezing through one nostril while the other drips and I’m sorta sleepy but know that sleeping will be difficult without breathing. I have Dayquil but I think Nyquil would better fit this situation… though I DID have a protein shake for dinner and now I’m wondering if I take medicine will it then react with the shake and cause gas or even worse and explosion!?!

Geeze! Lemme go to sleep!

Well, you haven't posted since the 19th ... so I can only hope you didn't take that medicine and EXPLODE like a Gremlin in a microwave.

Lets us know if you're feeling better. :-)

LoL! Thank you much for the concern, Taylor. I didn't explode. I was better in a few days. I need to adjust my routine a bit, thats all. School has me flying backwards--i can't get anything done anymore.
